Vehicle Details and Condition
How do I know the condition of the car I'm renting?

Before you take possession of the vehicle, you should conduct a thorough inspection. We will provide a Vehicle Condition Report noting any existing damage. You agree to inspect the vehicle and note any discrepancies. We highly recommend taking photos or videos of the vehicle’s condition at the start of your rental for your records and providing them to Drive X as outlined in the rental agreement.

Immediately report any pre-existing damage not listed on the Vehicle Condition Report to a Drive X representative before leaving the rental location. Ensure it is documented to avoid being held responsible.

Rental Period and Extensions
How is the rental period calculated?

The rental period is calculated from the confirmed Start Date and Time to the End Date and Time specified in your agreement.

If you need to keep the vehicle longer than the agreed-upon End Date and Time, you must contact Drive X to request an extension before your original rental period expires. Extensions are subject to availability and our approval, and may result in a different rental rate and additional fees.

If you return the vehicle after the agreed-upon End Date and Time without an approved extension, you will incur late fees as specified in your rental agreement, in addition to the prorated rental fee for the extended time.

Failure to return the vehicle by the agreed-upon time without an approved extension is a breach of the rental agreement. If the vehicle is not returned within a certain timeframe (e.g., 48 hours or as dictated by state law), Drive X may report the vehicle as stolen and take legal action to recover it and all amounts owed.
